Maasai Community Encounter

new image

The Mount Suswa conservancy is managed by the local Maasai community who are the guardians of the ecosystem. They rely on their surroundings as the location for their homesteads or bomas, and also to graze their goats which are regarded as a form of personal wealth and currency. We offer you the unique opportunity to encounter Maasai life; dine and board in a Manyatta (Hut), listen to tales and legends from Maasai folklore.
